Safe Haven of Empowerment
for Girls

SHE (Safe Haven of Empowerment) for Girls is a non-profit organization designed to support teen girls in their journey of self discovery and finding their way to womanhood. Founded in Detroit, SHE’s primary goal is to support each next generation of “Motor City” teens to enter adulthood with more self-love, self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-determination than their predecessors.

SHE is a safe haven where young women will receive the education, information, empowerment and intellectual resources to support making wise choices on their beautiful journey.

SHE’s mission is to transform the trajectory of inner-city teen girls by equipping them with tools, resources and information to make fact-based decisions and take ownership of their future.
